Damn! I miss those days when we used to say hello and hug our friends. I miss the time when sharing and passing amusing notes in classroom was the coolest thing to do.
Ah! The good ol’ 90s, where are you!
This comic strip has quite rightly showcased how we used to pass notes and that are actually the modern day tweets and retweets.

I am sure Jack Dorsey, Noah Glass, Evan Williams and Biz Stone; the founders of Twitter must have passed these notes and played like these kids in the strip back in high school.
All these silly acts become great ideas. Anyway, with the introduction of technology, we have got microblogging and social networking sites like Twitter, Facebook and Hi5.
But what do you think, these website have taken away that thing called human touch? I don’t even remember when was the last I even called up my best buddy and said hello to him. Obviously, when I can tweet him who gives a royal sh** about calling and talking to him. Tweeting is the thing man!
And believe you me, not talking to your friend and just liking and updating their walls are, certainly, not the coolest thing to do. I am not bashing these websites but my only intent is to remind each and every one of you that old school is still cool.
By old school style, I mean just look at the strip, how the kids are passing notes and actually having a great time. The tweets and retweets and DMs, they all existed in 90s as well, we all used to indulge in these mischievous and dangerous act
The epic part of the strip is the teacher becoming Fail Whale. A quick info on Fail Whale, whenever Twitter faces the issue of outage, the users can see a fail whale message on the Twitter pages. The logo is created by Yiying Lu.
I simply live the strip as I remember the good ol’ days when there was no Twitter or Facebook.
